2018 Class Champion - John Tushingham

In 2018 we saw 46 skippers take part in the 9 event series, a little down from the 55 in 2017.

The best 5 scores of each skipper counted towards their final ranking but in the end only 11 people sailed in 5, and 4 in more than 5 events.

This year the trophy remains ensconced in Yorkshire with John Tushingham taking the title for the second year in a row, and with 4 wins and a 2nd there was no touching him.  Well done John.

Phil Holiday secured 2nd place some 30 points adrift and Nigel Brown, a further 35 points back, completed the podium.

We want to increase participation in 2019 and would welcome any ideas that you might have to help this along so please do get in touch.  The class gives us close, high performance, competitive and friendly racing at a reasonable cost and we need to establish ourselves more within the UK Radio Sailing scene.
